Getting to the University of Waterloo
By CarFrom Highway 401 take exit 278 (from Toronto) or exit 278B (from London) to Highway 8 West, Kitchener. Exit at Highway 85 to Waterloo. Take the 2nd University Avenue exit, marked West. Follow University Avenue West to Phillip Street, which is the 8th light past the exit. Turn right onto Phillip Street. At the next light turn left on Columbia Street. Follow Columbia Street past the stoplight which marks the north entrance to the University.
Parking
Parking is available in Lots V and S which are just past Lot K, after you enter the campus.

By Train, Bus, or Plane
You can easily reach the University of Waterloo by taking the Via Rail train or theGreyhound bus to Kitchener, and then Grand River Transit to the campus. You can also fly directly into the region through the Region of Waterloo International Airport which is only minutes away from the University. Transportation from the Pearson International Airport in Toronto or Hamilton International Airport is available by contacting Airways Transit at 519-886-2121. Airways Transit must be booked in advance, and if possible, booking with a group is a convenient way to save money for the trip to Waterloo.
If looking for a cheaper alternative, public transportation is available by taking the following steps:
a) Mississauga Transit, Line 7: Toronto Airport --> Mississauga, Square One (City Center Transit Terminal)
